There is a perception that a game like Mario Kart Tour could be a stumbling block for the gaming community. Many people really like it for mobile devices, while others argue that it’s nothing like Mario Kart at all.
Let’s find out right now, if this game is really good for mobile devices.
Did you know that Mario Kart Tour is both good and bad at the same time. While noting the nice graphics that make the game cool, there are special tricks that spoil all the fun.
Let’s talk about what MKT does very well. The main gameplay is Mario Kart, not the familiar traditional Mario Kart of the Wii or SNES. It’s worth saying that this is an arcade MK where you have to shell out $0.50 for a track.
The roads consist of a couple of laps and each cup has 3 tracks and 1 mini-game. There are currently 10 “vases” for the community and some will be on free sale for a few days. The player has the ability to collect rewards, increasing the number of trophies, completely free to get gems, cars and more.
As with any game, there are pros and cons. Let’s talk about them right now. The developers obviously didn’t finalize the gameplay controls, and that is the reason why the player’s car will move chaotically forward. And to make the maneuvers the gamer need to swipe the screen left or right.
Controlling the character is terribly difficult, because you need to swipe your finger on the display of your device properly. If you don’t swipe your finger from the middle of the screen, you won’t be able to continue the game. A step to the left or right and your character is already stomping in the wrong direction.
Unlocking new heroes and autos isn’t much fun either, why, because you have to go through the unlocking system by sliding down Mario’s green tube and something starts flying out at you.
Cool items are very hard to get, as even gamer experience doesn’t count.
In the past, game developers have been adept at hiding terrible action behind distracting pretty phrases, such as prize boxes and trophy boxes. Nintendo has yet to find a term for the action that empties parents’ bank accounts of children, only to be shot out of the pipe again.
A lot of player money is spent on skins or cosmetics if the gameplay is groovy and has caught on with the community. In this way, the company makes money.
Greed was the second reason that makes this game bad, because finding a new favourite character in a loot box with lots of other junk cannot be called in any other way. On top of that, the shop reloads on a daily basis.
There are most likely several reasons.
